EXPLORE THE FARM, BAKERY & MILL THROUGH OUR VARIETY TASTING SERIES

Our favorite farm and culinary programs are back. And this year our veg is sharing the spotlight with grain.

Grain Classes

With the addition of our New American Stone Mill and our whole grain bakery, you may have noticed that we are slightly grain obsessed. Grain is an agricultural product. And, just like vegetables, it deserves the same amount of thought, respect, care and attention when being farmed, processed, and cooked. So this year, grain gets its own space in our Variety Tasting lineup.

Each grain class will focus on one type of grain and will include a tour of our bakery and a demo of our milling process, a chat with our baker and farmer about the grain, a tasting of breads and a special bite made by our culinary team featuring the grain of the day.

Veg Classes

It's no secret that we love diversity and specialty vegetable varieties here at Beetlebung. From seed sourcing and selection to harvest and culinary prep, genetic diversity on our farm is at the heart of it all.

Each veg class will include a short field tour and a chat with one of our farmers to learn the how’s and why’s of our farming approach and seed selection process. After, we’ll taste an array of varieties, discuss culinary applications, and enjoy an accompanying dish prepared by our kitchen team that features our veg.
