THE FARM

Beetlebung is a historic 6+ acre farm situated in the heart of Chilmark, on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. This land was lovingly farmed by four generations of the Fischer Family from 1961 through 2018. As its new owners and stewards, The Farm Group, we are committed to preserving the agrarian nature of Chilmark and hosting a space where farming, food, craft, and education can intersect.

We are committed to renewing this iconic property, building our infrastructure and soil to support a small-scale, biologically diverse, market garden farm. Using regenerative agriculture principles and a low-tech farming approach, Beetlebung grows vegetables, herbs, flowers and berries in our 1+ acre cultivated field. Look for our harvests at our year-round farm stand, the West Tisbury Farmer’s Market, and on menus around the Island.

Through the seasons, we will be evolving to meet the needs of our land and our community, with the goal of nurturing fertile ground for food and creativity.
