THE FARM

Our farming philosophy is pretty simple: the soil comes first, always. Feeding and supporting the life beneath the soil surface is our greatest responsibility as farmers. We minimize tillage, which maintains soil structure and the networks of nutrient exchange between organisms. Healthy soil allows our crops to grow more resilient, nutritious, and flavorful.

We grow a (very) wide diversity of vegetables, herbs, flowers and berries - always in search of the most delicious and resilient plant varieties. We love working with plant breeders, small seed companies, seed savers, and researchers, as well as with fellow farmers and chefs.
