THE FARM AS OUR TABLE
This summer, Beetlebung Farm is making room at our tables in a new way.
We are excited to invite you to join us for a series of farm experiences we’re calling The Farm as Our Table — a deeper taste of the work, food, and home we call Beetlebung Farm.
Long before we took on the stewardship of Beetlebung, the farm was cherished as a welcoming gathering place in the heart of Chilmark. We have always been drawn to that spirit, and have come to understand the entire farm as our table: a place to gather, connect, learn, listen, share ideas, and be inspired.
And while our primary work is to grow good food well and prepared with care, we have grown to be a farm of many tables. Our dream is always to feed and to nourish by connecting people to farming and food practices that build health and strengthen community.
We look forward to welcoming you to our many tables: immersive gatherings with farming and food at the center, and a chance to taste what is happening here, now, in this moment of the year.

TWO TABLES: A FARM DINNER
Each evening begins around a table in the field. A farm bite and drink, a guided walk about the farm to take in all that’s growing — the rows of beans, the tomatoes coming in, the variety we took a chance on this year that we can’t stop raving about.
Then we gather to sit and share at a very long table.
These are meals with context. Our team will share some back stories: the seed breeders behind the varieties, how each crop performed in the field, the story behind the menu. It is the kind of conversation that only happens when you're seated at the place where the food is actually growing.
The evenings are intimate. Small enough that the table feels like a gathering rather than an event — a mix of first-time visitors, neighbors, year-round residents, new and old friends. There is a particular kind of magic that settles in when we all come together and engage over food grown and prepared well.

ROTATIONAL GRAZING TASTING TOUR
At the height of summer, the farm is at full tilt — and this is your invitation to experience it up close.
Guests will graze their way through a series of tables set throughout the farm, enjoying a full farm and food experience along the way.
At each stop, our farmers and cooks will share the whys behind our process and approach: from variety selection and building the soil beneath your feet to the moment a crop moves from field to kitchen. You’ll taste just-harvested vegetables and prepared bites from our kitchen that showcase how we like to eat — a bit of this, a bite of that, whatever’s in season.
It is the most delicious way to show you what we do.

BACKDOOR COMMUNITY PICNIC
By late September, the light changes, the fields soften, and the island takes a breath. As the island settles into Derby season and turns back toward itself, we’re opening the back door and setting communal tables in the yard for a celebration of the farming season, our community and the incredible Beetlebung team.
Reserve a time, ready yourself for a feast. Come on your own, come with friends, or bring the whole family. We’ll be serving abundant, seasonal Beetlebung food family-style across the table — the kind of food you already know and love from the fields, farmstand, kitchen, and bakery.
In this back door experience, the farm is your table. This is a moment to celebrate flavors shaped by this special place: the land around us, the waters just beyond us, and the many hands that bring it all together.
